The LC-1 does come with the DataLog cable. Check out my pics here:

These are starting points for dialing in a static map. Yes, you are right, the stock map is capable of slightly more ... but, that is very optimistic. Most people get less and this OEM timing is usually very erratic. I had my original map tuned in to slightly more aggressive timing than what was mentioned above. I started my mapping over from scratch and will be approaching the timing again. I'll post after that is done ... but, it will be a little while cause I am pretty busy right now.drfrink24 said:Wolf,
Quick question.. I'm looking at some logging from a few weeks ago (low humidity, 55 degrees) and I'm seeing 20/22/24/30 (varys). This is the v1.04 stage2 basemap, of course, 100% throttle.
Are the values you recommend starting points, or, ending? I find it hard to beleive that cobbs shelf maps already are more aggressive than this.
STLSTI said:WolfPlayer, I have a question about your tuning guide. But first I have to thanks you for taking the time to write this guide thus opening the tuning door to us NOOBS, again thanks. In your guide with reference to boost you say most tuners set the target boost first and then use 75% WDC high across the board. Do you mean the the last vertical row or max TP or the whole map from 0 TP to 80 TP.
Thanks,
Marcos

Is this the map your writing about.crystal_Imprezav said:You need to ask Cobb for the map or use jorge's map on his website the stage2 streettuner map located at www.projectwrx.com
i've always wondered if the injectors are really too small or is it the crappy fuel pump. 525 injectors at 85% duty cycle on a 4 cylinder car should be able to support 360BHP easily.
i replaced my pump with a walbro and now my a/f @ wot is 10.2-4 before it was 10.9 and this is with a stage 2.
Thanks,
Sid
I think a lot of the information still applies, and looking at it even now, I think you did a pretty good job.. Maybe you could just take a look at the timing section, as I think that portion needs an update.Yea, I should totally look at this when I get time. I was a LONG time ago when I wrote it. I am sure things have changed a bit since then. I'll be pretty busy for the next week - so definitely not soon.
