There is always someone in the market for an STI.. Not every STI for sale is listed here. Here is a thread to share great deals on STI's listed elsewhere.

not much at all.. It's got a stock motor from an '05 STI, wheels, and some misc.. For that price, I would have expected a clean built STI motor, 6 spd transmission, DCCD, and interior. You can buy an STI hatch for about the same as this guys crazy ask.
Yeah, it's a stretch calling it an "STI"not much at all.. It's got a stock motor from an '05 STI, wheels, and some misc.. For that price, I would have expected a clean built STI motor, 6 spd transmission, DCCD, and interior. You can buy an STI hatch for about the same as this guys crazy ask.
Also, why does it have vermont plates in CA.. No way it gets registered as is in CA.
This will be interesting to see what a Basically New STI will auction for on BAT, which seems to be an inflated street price.

The new and used Porsche market (and in general the sports car market) has totally gone off the rails in the past few years. Pretty common to see 50%-100% premiums for anything with 3-pedals (even more for 2000's Ferraris and Lamborghinis), closed waiting lists for a chance to pay $100k over sicker for GT cars, and plenty of people with enough money to happily pay the additional costs keep driving everything up.I am also watching this one and find it hard to believe ppl are willing to pay a premium for an econo-box with a turbo.. Inflated prices will be bad for the enthusiast community. Depreciation is what brings dream cars into reach. I paid 46k for my first 911 turbo... =/
Sold for $47K, while still a lot for an STI I was thinking it would fetch more given the state of the used car market.I am also watching this one and find it hard to believe ppl are willing to pay a premium for an econo-box with a turbo.. Buyer paid another 5% on top of that, so 50K for an STI? Way more than I would pay and what one of these econo-boxes is worth, but how many people get to live through the Everything Bubble?Sold for $47K, while still a lot for an STI I was thinking it would fetch more given the state of the used car market.
