I talked with my contact at the local dealer about the STi, and one question I brought up was whether or not the STi will be available in a wagon format. He said that "the WRX was not expected in the wagon format, but they got it anyway". He seemed to imply that the if/when the STi comes it is possible that it will be offered in the wagon format. I know there is some interest in the wagon, is there anything in Japan or Europe that would indicate the STi might or might not make to our shores in the wagon format?

Japan has it, yes. As far as anywhere else, I don't know. Anybody know if the STi wagon's ever been released outside of Japan?

I hop the wagon comes. As of now the WRX sedan is nice, but in terms of practicality the wagon is SWEEET! It will haul everything and still burn up the road.
i want one, but of course would not "mind" a "plain, old" STi. :smile:
