My car was just tuned a little over a week ago with a ets 3” FMIC, 1050 injectors, Cobb fuel rails, Cobb fuel lines, AEM 340 fuel pump, Perrin turbo inlet, Cobb sf intake, Grimmspeed dp, and Grimmspeed ebc. Everything seemed fine, but now the car lunges/jerks when I am decelerating. This usually happens only once or twice between 2nd-4th sometimes when barely any boost is being pushed. After that 1 or 2 times the lunging just disappears. Dam stays a 1, and no CEL. I’ve sent a few logs over to my tuner, however he doesn’t answer during the weekends. I did read another post like this, but he was stock with an factory tune. This is my first Subaru and time getting a tune so I have no experience with this and wanted to see if anyone has had experience with this before and if I could get some info on what’s happening.

Confused. This tuning issue is under Transmission/Drivetrain?

Perhaps a better description would help, but it doesn't sound as if the cart did this prior to engine mods and tune, and there were no trans mount changes mentioned. So unless mounts are loose its a instal or tune issue.

little update. My tuner is a very reputable guy here my state, however he doesn’t answer on weekends leading to this post as I was curious and had never had this happen before. Since then I have talked to my tuner and got this whole situation figured out.

Tuner reassured me that my stock engine and transmission mounts just don’t like that the car is pushing a little more than 100 pounds of torque over stock. So I’m have to live with it until I am able to get my hands on some IAG or Grimmspeed mounts.

That's unfortunate that you were told that and believe it. If it is as you describe, it's not normal. Why would you accept that more power affects your decel/engine braking?
Like I said it usually happened once or twice and disappears for the rest of the day, I’ve taken a look at multiple logs covering DAM to Volts and nothing seems out of the norm. With that and my tuner’s reassurance I have no real fear anymore. It’s been about two weeks since my tune and everything is going good the engine breaking/jerk has seemed to disappear as well (weird I know).
