No one knows for sure, but if you read some of the other posts in this forum, seems like alot of people think that it will be there. I'm gonna be going to find out

The expected unveiling is supposed going to be at the Detroit Auto show in January.

Does the LA show serve as a big concept/new model unveiling like the other International shows? Dunno much about it myself.

Funny you ask that because I JUST got done reading an email from a dealer that it would be at the LA Auto Show. Here's what he said:

I have good news. Subaru is organising an STi Consumer Event at the LA Auto Show on the 10th of January 2003. It will be the West Coast debut of the 2004 WRX STi. You will get a chance to receive STi merchandise and an opportunity to sit and walk around the car.

Take this info in consideration but note it came from a dealer

that post is correct for the "special pass" because my dealer told me he had 4 invitations and asked if I wanted one. (im not making this up for fun..i normally dont post stuff anyways) But that post says Jan 9th right? I dunno, I'll ask the dealer if its the 10th or 9th

The 9th is for dealers, 10th for "regular people" with special passes, 11th till the end of the show is open to the public.
