Am I having second thoughts? No- and here's why:

Turbo Kit- 5,000 +
TEC-II- 2,500
Dog-Box- 5,000 (STi 6 speed 12,000)
Lower compression pistons- ??
Upgraded Diffs- 3,500
Brembo Brakes- 3,000
17" Lightweight wheels and tires- 2,000
Race seats- 2,000

That's how much I would have to spend to turbocharge my RS the right way, where it would be reliable and produce 250+ horspower. Eventually I want to get to 400HP. I bet that you can get there cheaper overall and more reliably with a new STi than with any RS..

I have had too many friends also with RS-T's that have just become a money pit. First the clutch goes, then the tranny, then the engine.. :sad:

I also have had friends with WRX's that are having problems tranny wise also. :sad:

I would rather get an STi, which will have a good amount of power to start with. It's a great base for big power.. :grin:

Still would be worried about the tranny at 280HP. I know of people breaking them with STOCK cars...
