Hey guys,

Thinking of picking up a sti in the near future. However I was wondering how the sti handles going to tahoe. Do they make you put chains on when it is snowing? Or do they let you pass with all seasons or do they make you have snow tires? Looking for input from people with experience going to tahoe in a wrx or sti when it is snowing.

Thanks

No idea.. but all seasons are terrible, and a terrible idea. Get a good set of winters. I have no idea if they require chains.. most places do not if you have good winter tires

Chains are not an option on the STi, due to clearance in the wheel well. I drive on Nokian R2's and can maintain 85 mph in snow. If the state patrol won't let you past, nobody will be allowed past.
