Over at Nasioc, a vendor is offering the Prodrive GC-06s but in 17x7.5 +48mm offset, 5x100.

They weigh around 16.5lbs each according to Prodrive USA.

7.5 is too small for STi. We use LE28N's in 18X8.5 +44 here. Perfect fit. I think those needto be added to the above list.

Nice list. I thought it was going to be like "do not jump more than a foot off the ground" or "sledge hammers and your STi don't mix well." I guess this is even better though... Thanks!

You can add Rota Battles 17x7.5 48mm offset to your list of wheels that fit had a set they have more clearance than the BBS I sold them to another STI owner to use for track wheels.

although i'd do the same thing as well... I think they mean bigger is better, by WIDER tires, not running 20s or something. But like 18x8.5 vs 17x7.5. Wider = more tire = more grip/better handling/better traction/better braking, etc...

Cusco front strut bar fit on my STi,,,,slight relocation of AC lines. I also wrapped the AC lines in foam just in case.

Unless I find some really lightweight 18 inch wheels (no more than 17lbs) I would do them.
