This is a beauty!
This is literally the crosstrek Subaru should have built!
Huge props!
I’ve seen an FA swapped crosstrek on youtube but not an sti swap, and damn, u even have bigger brakes than I do 😂

Before you do your downpipe+injectors and then obviously a custom tune, check out a turbo inlet.
Im basically running what your setup will be + fpr, ebcs, and inlet.
Inlet for throttle response and cause the stock one is junk, ebcs cause it’s better to tune with, fpr for the ‘stumble fix’ which iirc is more prevalent on older generations but still a thing.
You have the more efficient turbo (VA) so your numbers will be higher but I’m putting down an honest 280/325 and the car is just violet now 😈

Just a heads up, you might want to look into a fuel pump upgrade.
The AEM 320 (cobb carries this kit) is a cheap upgrade that most Subaru shops should have in stock.
You'll be maxing out the stock one on 1050's.
Those who are reluctant to upgrade the injectors on the 15+ when going beyond a downpipe generally all agree a pump is still a good idea.
It's a 1hr install and cheap reassurance.

I have a similar setup to yours + an inlet, and I too have the AEM 320 paired with my 1050's.

This is why I really like this forum, thanks for the sound advice and yes I think you are 100% right and I changed the pump , I just figured it went without saying, I didn’t even think I could use the stock one, I appreciate the info. Next is the air/oil separator which I have but need to find a few hours of free time to install. My shop has been super busy. I also have to install the cylinder cooling mod, probably at the same time. And then that’s it!!!! No more lol, I have also been working a lot on the suspension. Most of you guys on this forum might go down a bit with your suspension but I’m up like 2” so I’m working to get the geometry as perfect as I can. Almost there. Added some white line adjustable lower control arms.i have a bunch more components to add/replace.
My 12' GR suspension wore out so I actually opted to install the 18+ OEM suspension from the VA (yes it fits).
It's better sprung and dampened and only lowers about 1/4".
This was mainly because the STi is my daily so I don't want to have to worry about ripping the bumper off over road obstructions and if I pull too far into a parking spot, I really only risk damaging my lip.
So, it's not all about race car stance, at least not on the daily!

If this was my only car and I was going all out on it, it'd be 1" lower on ohlins with plates and arms and the 18+ 6-pots, built IAG Stage 2 with a GT35 putting down around 5 on pump..... but I must resist! 😂

I'm curious, how much of the front subframe/suspension did you use? I see that the who rear swapped over, but what about the front? I was thinking about just doing seats and the wiring needed for an fb20f swap, but now that I've seen this, my gears are turnin.
Pretty sure this build is basically a crosstrek shell/panels, suspension, and maybe some or all of the body harness with the rest of the sti chassis, interior, engine, engine harness, etc. bolted in.

Well damn. As soon as I get the suspension on my Silverado finished I'm building one for myself. Lol no sense trying to figure out an fb20f swap if an entire sti just swaps over. I see them wrecked all the time where I live so parts are easy.
Just make sure you have the space and the resources, I wouldn’t do this on jackstands. This swap looks intense, kudos to OP!

Absolutely amazing. I love, and I want one.
I don't have the resources to do a swap of this magnitude, so I just built a crosSTi :D
I havn't posted updates in my build thread yet but it's coming this week!
