What all would I have to put on my car to do an STI convrsion? Nothing big for example i dont wanna do an engine tranny change but all the other parts etc?

If your talking cosmetics, proably won't cost that mcuh. It's when you start talking brakes/engine/tranny/suspension that things get real pricy real quick.

Do you own a WRX? Cool if you do. My say is that if you put a lot of stuff to make your rex look like an STi then at least put one STi engine or suspension part in to verify your cars STi look, but that's just my opinion.

Ya I currently have my second WRX on order. My first one was totaled. see pics here: httP://thermite3.tripod.com/wrx First my plans are to make it look like the STI, IE STI Badges, interior items, STI grill, STI hood scoop. After that I plan to do a suspension upgrade allong with the brembo brakes. I would like the STI seats but I cant justify 4K as seen on vividracings website for the seats. I dont know where to find STI engine/transmission stuff. Any info on those parts? All I seem to find is dress-up stuff. As far as rims I want the gold prodrive P7 rims. I will receive my car on Feb 1st and will already have some parts for it. Indiglo gauges, new momo shift knob, STI grill, STI Badges, and STI sills. I have also found a custom leather interior kit from http://www.leatherseats.com i want to put in it as well.

Brembo's are really expensive; I think you would need new wheels to fit the brakes and that might cost you a pretty penny.

I was gonna put the Gold Prodrive P7 wheels on it anyways. What other decent brake kits are out there?

Keep an eye on Sport Compact Car. They just picked up a project WRX and the first thing they're gonna start modding is the brakes, accoring to the February '02 edition.

I saw that article to. I'm looking forward to future issues to see what they did to the rex!
