Oh yes. I know that it was advertised as softer, which is why I got the 18 STI and I can say for a fact that after the model year 2018 the STI became softer. I also know that they tweaked the DCCD and the steering and I wonder if these rattles are somehow associated with them.
I didn't even realize the aftermarket made UELH. I guess I don't really understand the Pros and Cons of the two. Can someone help me out with that?
I know the sound is different but what are the differences in performance characteristics?

I wanted to post this key insight on the AWE touring exhaust. I poured in quite a bit of research online to find the perfect exhaust. I'm getting up their in the years and I've had all sorts of exhausts and wanted this one to be "perfect". Not to loud, not to quiet and locked in on the AWE...
