Went tot he 1/4 mile track at Steele (near Birmingham, I think) last Sunday. Because of breaking Mustangs, I only got two runs. :(

My car is stock, excepting for the HKS SSQV, removed intake silencer and Schroth 4-point harness. I left spare, jack, 200 CDs and emergency roadside kit int he car.

First run:
R/T: .939
60': 1.768
330: 5.395
1/8: 8.375
MPH: 82.93
1/4: 13.155
MPH: 102.02

Second run:
R/T: .774
60': 1.832
330: 5.553
1/8: 8.615
MPH: 80.47
1/4: 13.663
MPH: 93.70

Second run, I didn't launch very well, then missed 5th gear badly...resulting in the nasty bad time. :( Otherwise, it was fun. Next time, I'm gonna remove stuff and shoot for sub-13 stock run.

Heya RN!

I was the guy in the black STi at Steele the day you ran...

It is a shame about the "Blowups" on the track, however I think the cleanups could've been manged better. It's usually not that bad out there on Sundays.

The best I could muster for the day on mine (Stock except for HKS Carbon-Ti Catback) is this little gem (Sans: spare, jack) but took passengers:

R/T .659
60' 1.682
330' 5.343
1/8 8.383
MPH 80.63
1/4 13.234
MPH 100.69

I somewhat over-rev'ed on two of the shifts, but the launch was just simply awsome! Can't wait for another round, Are you going again soon?

I think some guys from clubwrx.net are going November 30. I think I'm going to go because I want to remove all the heavy stuff I can and shoot for sub-13 second run with the car while stock. :) I just gotta try to match your 60' time and I should be good... ;) Put turbo on full boil, launch a lot harder and shift like I was the first run and I think I can do it.
