I have a 2008 sti I recently put a n1 3 inch invidia exhaust system with 3inch down pipe I also put a turbo xs hybrid blow off valve but the car is not tuned I was on the highway cruising on 6th gear then floored it at about 5k rpm's the car went on limp mode the check engien light came on the S light and cruise control light were blinking and my traction control light came what would cause this is it because is not tuned ??????

Yes. Downpipe=Tune

You should NOT be going WOT without a tune!

I disconnected the positive on the batteri for like a minute and everything went back to normal should I have done that?

^^^^ What he said. You also shouldnt be going wot in 6th gear downshift its more fun anyways :D

Just re-read OP, 5k RPM in 6th gear?!!??!!!??!?! that's stupid fast on public roads, man.
Take that shit to the track.
