I guess what I mean is, on the bottom, there is a notch to align the spring into the strut, Now you can put it to the point where it won't go anymore, all the way to that height difference, but you can also put it not as close and it seems like it'll fit as well.
Not sure if that matters much or if I align the top spring perch that way.
Still have one bolt on the left side stuck to get out.. stupid galvanic corrosion, Canadian salt roads for shitty scared drivers...
