so i'm taking it that it's safe to assume that the new STi will have the same size speaker places in the doors as an '03 WRX? LOL that's what i was banking on but i at least want to create a wishlist at crutchfield.com while i'm stuck waiting on my sweet ride to get here. (and i'm guessing i'm one of the few people that have ordered an STi that doesn't already have a WRX LOL) :lol:

I can't verify this, but Crutchfield lists the 03 WRX as having 6.5" fronts and 4" rears.

Looks like components in the front and filler speakers in the rear.

does the WRX have rear door speaker and rear top panel speaker?

so technically 4 speakers in the rear of the car

You can put either a 6.5" or 5.25" speaker in the front doors.
