Looking to buy a brake caliper press to reset the pistons after changing brake pads. US made would be a plus, but must admit that price is also a factor. Currently looking between Lang 279 and Powerbuild. Suggestions?

I mean a tool like that will always make it easier. For something you arent going to use every day, Lang is a perfectly good brand for that. You could probably even go cheaper lol.

To be honest, i just use 2 flat head screw drivers when doing brakes on brembo type calipers.

I use a flat bar with the old pads in place. Just a couple family cars - not a business. Hard for me to imagine wanting special a tool for this - but the Lang does look OK.

the lang tool is similar to the cornwell one i use at work (ford dealership) and makes it super easy to use. before that i have used a c clamp tool and used a old pad and rag over the caliper. if you plan on doing a lot of brake changes get the lang
