Hello guys!

Everything will be installed by the Lachute Performance team on April 16th!!! Can't wait!

Special thanks to all the Trackwerks team for the parts!! Especially to Geoff who did an amazing job at helping me out with most items!

See previous post for full parts details!

Eibach Pro-Kit springs (sorry for bad pic)

Whiteline front + rear 22 mm sway bars (rear still on delivery) + camber correction bushings

Last but not least, my wheels Weds Sport SA-55M 18" X 9" +36 mm offset (they look SO damn nice)

It doesn't affect anything.

You can clean it as much as you want and wax it aswell. I've waxed the car 3 times in 9 months and everything looks brand new except some very minor chips in the clear bra!

Hey man, a fellow Quebecer! Nice car you have! That's a lot of mods you are putting into it too. Looks real good. How is your experience with Lachute performance? I do my own installs for car mods, but when my warranty comes up, I'll probably want to throw some forged pistons in my block, which I'd rather not do myself considering I have no space/equipment to do that kind of work.

Re: S1monQc's 2013 CBS STI - Trackwerks DD build!!

I could talk about my experience with Lachute Performance for a few hours...

They are a pretty reputable shop around here, but some things didn't go as expected the day I went to see them

Starting by the fact that some local wheel/tire balancing shop they deal with scratched the shit out of my 4 wheels because of the way they balanced my tires...

Fortunately, the Lachute Performance owner agreed to order me a new set of wheels to get them replaced...

Anyways, for the good parts, the wheels and the car in general look damn good right now. I keep getting good comments about it. The +36 mm offset of the wheels makes them pretty flush (had to roll rear fenders). The Eibach springs offer a perfect drop aswell! Lower than I thought which is great!!

Also decided to add the Goodridge SS brakelines + Gulf 5.1 brake fluid I day I went to Lachute :D

I'll report pictures of the new car this week-end after a proper wash ;)

awesome man, sounds like the scratches wasn't lachute performance's fault but the company they deal with...maybe one of their workers got lazy and didn't pay attention. Was cool of the owner to replace your wheels though.

What area of Montreal are you from? Do you ever go to any of the local meets? I've started hitting them up, so far wednesday meets is the norm. We should meet up some time if you're down!

Re: S1monQc's 2013 CBS STI - Trackwerks DD build!!

Sorry to hear about the wheels Simon...

No doubt Lachute won't leave you stranded .. no worries there

Let's see some pics with the new set-up :D
Yeah Julien was nice to deal with, but the day my wheels got f*cked, nobody wanted to take responsability for what happened and the dude who balanced my wheels was saying that my wheels were still very functional... Yeah right I'm not getting 2500$ wheel set to make them functional.. I want them to be perfect!!

Pics to come for sure!

Re: S1monQc's 2013 CBS STI - Trackwerks DD build!! **Pictures heavy**

Here are some most recent pics after a clean wash :)

Flush wheels (rolled rear fenders + very slight pull during the rolling)

Lip is pretty good for a replica, but one of the side doesn't perfectly fit.. I guess that's what happen when you pay 1/4 of the original :)

Plasti-Dipped V-limited lip

Gap is pretty good for a car without coilovers
