Speaking to a dealer in STL, who seemed pretty knowledgable on the whole STi subject, said that the colors of the STi are gonna be Yellow and Red.
No WR Blue, No White, No Blue-Black Mica...
just Red and Yellow. "SOA want to make them stick out from the rest of the Impreza line up."

Has anyone else heard this? right now I am hoping hes just full of crap...

Honestly, talk of colors seems kind of moot at this point, but I'll bite.

Give me yellow.

Honestly though, I doubt thats right. Blue is the color that identifies this make, model and team around the world.

They do make the WRX in yellow and red anyway so the excuse seems bogus too.

From what I've heard the colors will be white, black, silver and WR blue. I think silver would look funny with the gold wheels - the others would be OK. My choice would be the WR blue of course.

Speaking of colors, I was checking out a few German cars (Audi A4, MB C230) and man do they have lots of colors. The MB comes in like 16 colors - 3 kinds of blacks, 3 shades of reds, 2 blues, 2 silvers, white, green, etc. etc. Whereas with the Japanese cars seems like it's always silver, white, black and red. Give or take...

But we're not interested in the STi for the colors, right?

I understand what you are saying here JJ but my question is what is the difference between Rally Blue and Blue Ridge? Pics?

ITR yellow? Integra ? in a Yellow? Pics Please also. (I thought the type r was white)

Also, Pink? You mean "Cherry Blossom"-- Kill me if you want but I think a Cherry Blossom Pearl might look coool Esp if I'm the only one with it! Assuming it doesnt come out pink! 8)

I've seen Blue Ridge, I think, since is neither the rally blue -- WRC colour, perhaps a tad lighter -- nor the Blue Black. The blue black looks black in almost every light. When I saw a Blue Black (aka Midnight Black) WRX when it debuted at a car show, I didn't recognize it because it looked black even under the high level of lighting... until I looked closely.
This intermediate blue is, for all intents and purposes, a metallic navy. I have quite a few pictures of WRX's, so I'll composite one with the three colours in similar lighting, so the matter can be put to rest.

SAM, i know what you mean, but if you lived in texas you could see the other colours in the black REALLY well. dont know what it is, but it makes the black and the blue and silver look great in person. BUT i think that the STi blue black mica is different than the WRX black. i hope not.

I want my WRX in the 2.5RS savanna green, i mean, that and those 17inch subaru optional wheels, not the BBS the light gold ones, ive seen them in person, they are slightly gold, not silver and look AWESOME. id bet they might end up on our STi. they are probably a market study now.
but those on a green WRX......OMG. & i was born in may so my birth stone is emerald so that would kick additional ass if they made the 2003 in that green.

Blue Ridge Pearl- A LOT darker than WRBP. But one of my favorites, and it is the current color of my RS. A royal bitch to keep clean again, not sure I would get it again because of that.

I am probably going to get either the special-edition color (if there is one and dep. on what it is), or World Rally Blue Pearl.

I will try to post pics of my RS later...
