Hello everyone! I got my first Subaru in October of 2010. It all happen out of chance. My parents neighbor was wanting to get a SUV for herself and was going to trade her Subaru in. My parents had mentioned to her perviously that I was on the look out for a car. So she offered me the car for what the dealer was going to give her for trade. I had struck a deal of a lifetime. She was the only owner and is in her 50's so the car was never driven hard. She also had all the maintenance done at the dealership. So that how I became a proud Subaru owner.

Here's what the car looked like when I first got it in 2010.

And this is how I had it right before I sold it.

All I did at that point was paint the rims black. I didn't catch the tuning bug till about a year after owning it. Started with the exhaust like most people. From there I did everything I possibly could on an NA engine. It had a short ram intake, headers and full catback exhaust. I was pretty happy with it but I eventually wanted more power.

Final in June 2013 after months of looking for the perfect STI, a member on NASIOC messaged me that he was thinking about selling his car. I went all the way down to Portland, OR to get it. It was a 2004 WRB STI with only 75k miles! Only mods were an exhaust and CAI.

Here's the car on the first day I bought it!

Power wise my goal for the car is to get it to 350-375whp. Not too crazy high as this is going to be my daily driver. I have been looking at the 20g and Dom 1.5 as turbo upgrades. With the supporting mods I should be able to get there. Don't want to run meth as my tuner didn't recommend it for what I want so I'll be just running our 92 grade pump gas.

Re: rkam's WRB 04 STI

Removed the white plasti-dip that was on the rims. It was a PITA.. Like the gunmetal much better!

Also de-badged the trunk!

Nice car! Getting rid of the white wheels for gunmetal was excellent! welcome to the never ending joy that is modifying an STi!
Re: rkam's WRB 04 STI

Traded out the Perrin exhaust and replaced it with the COBB Catback! Also removed the APS CAI since I live in Seattle and it rains 8 months outta the year. Put a COBB Short Ram in.

Decent looking '04, you know despite all the talk, '04 was the first and best year for USDM STi, right?

Installed my Advans today! Perfect fit. Wheels are 18x9.5 +40 and I moved my tires over from my old wheels which were 235/40 size. My goal is to eventually run a 255 or 265 tire!

I love it! I had Stoptech pads before and switched to the Project Mu ones. They have a little bit better bite and the dust doesn't seem as bad.
