The coolant cross over pipe is under the intake manifold. It has rubber o-rings that might be bad. Pressure testing it might be sealing the o-ring.

The manifold has to be lifted. Look at the top radiator hose and follow it back to the engine, that is the coolant crossover pipe, it goes back to the supply lines to the heater (around the starter area). It is bolted down to the block and o-rings seal it.

If your car has a lot of miles on it, it might be best to replace all the rubber hoses under and around the manifold so you only have to remove it once, they get dry and brittle over time. You also might want to get a turbo inlet in case you rip yours taking it out. You will also need to get part number 1A035AA421 (x2), these are intake manifold gaskets. Probably a good time to change the coolant if it has been a while.

These engines do have some difficult jobs, and removing the intake manifold is one of them. Just take your time and dont force anything.

The AC lines should be able to move some. When I had AC, the lines at the firewall were held in by one bolt instead of two, so the lines could be lowered. You might try that first, and maybe make a custom bracket if that doesn't work.

I could see how a hard turbo inlet could be causing some issues.
