RCE T2/KW rears leaking on welds?

My rear camber bolts slipped and I noticed both rears were leaking. I pulled them immediately and put the stock suspension back on. I was going to have them rebuilt by a local company however when disassembling and cleaning them I discovered they were leaking from welds on the side on each strut.

The welds in question are circled. They have never been involved in a wreck only daily driving and autocross.

Has anyone seen this before and are they still serviceable?

Call Myles at race comp he will get it sorted out also I think the tarmac 2s have a limited lifetime warranty.
Yea - lifetime against all leaks free rebuilds through KW (just got mine done over last winter) I'd have to imagine that the welds are covered also.... EDIT: deleted sentence, misread OP.

But yea call Myles and see what he thinks - you have to call Racecomp anyway to start the rebuild process.

The rebuilds were free for you? I thought it was $250 a corner?

Well - yes/no. From what I was told, by RCE last year - they no longer offer regular paid rebuilds (at least on the GD version of the T2's). But they still honor the lifetime warranty on the T2's.

So... if you have a problem; it still gets fixed for free. But you can no longer pay them to get them rebuilt unless there is an issue.... make sense?

Yes, mine got fixed for free; but I did end up paying like $50 to ship them to Cali.

Working on sending mine in for rebuild but if it comes up to $250 a corner I'm dumping them.
I currently have this issue, but I sold my TCE T0 to buy T2s. Used T2's do not have a warranty and it has been a pain to get them fixed.

They want $660 to repair them both. Still on the fence about it, its just a bit more than I planned to budget for.
Check with Odi at feal suspension. Much better pricing on repairing these.
