I was bidding on the STI on ebay just for Sh*** and Giggles. Here is a email I just recieved!

Hi, Do you want an STi today? I have 3 I NEED to sell, I will give it to you for 1500 above MSRP. The car is already to be picked up. Please let me know if you are interested 571-217-****

This was my response:
Are you crazy!!!!!!I have three deposits at different dealers just because I don't trust you scam artists. I am not a kid. I own a home. I am a grown man. I WILL NOT PAY 1 CENT OVER MSRP. and the only options I want are the armrest extention and turbo gauge. Blue or Black with GOLD WHEELS. The GOLD WHEELS IS A MUST. If you can't meet my demands email some other person you think might be a KID.

Oh well since I am talking to myself I might as well share this jerks reply.

Did you get a chance to read your email to me? It is very childish of you to respond the way you did. I own a home as well, what’s your point? Merely owning a home does not constitutes that fact that I am a grown man. You however are very presumptuous, you don’t know me, you never met me, and in that small mind of yours assume that I am a scam artist. How immature you can be?

If you had any sense at all you would at least be nice to me, realizing that I was contacting you out of the kindness of my heart and willing to sell you one of my Blue STi’s that is sitting at the dealership right now for what you ask for. But, you decide to treat me like a “scam artist” because you can not believe that there are some honest people out there.

Have a little respect for others, no matter who they are. The offer still stand, I have a blue STi for sale, you can get any option you want on it. It has Gold Rims, wheel locks and a security system. Payment will be accepted in form of cashiers check at the DEALERSHIP. You can go see the car if you want.

Then a couple of hours later this one:

The car for MSRP, financing availble through dealership. Call me 571-217-****

I called him. He stated they sold three already but a buyer might fall thru and he would contact me. SEE! :roll:

You were a little harsh, but it is pretty funny how he caved in. Though this is almost how you have to treat some of these dealers that try to rip you off.

I hate these sneeky sales people. Is that what I had to do to get what I wanted? I don't like being mean but why didn't he just offer MSRP from the begining?
