Ours is sitting here, not even cleaned and it has 18. That's what I was telling you guys before. I don't even think that we've filled the tank yet.

Insurance Revisited

18 is a lot of miles. My friends 2000 Maxima had .2 miles on it when he bought it. That is how the STIs should be. I don't see dealers allowing "random" buyers to test drive the car and the distance from the dock to the truck should not be that far...

Yeah, my fiance's 03 Maxima was sitting on the lot (available for test drives) and it only have 4 when we signed the papers....4 after they filled it up.

I'm seriously curious where that car has been. If there is a good reliable reason, that's understandable, otherwise I'm concerned.

Thats seriously messed up. I have bought 5 new cars over the last 6 years and the most mileage any of them had was my Mazda 6 i bought in March. It had 5.3 miles on it. That was becuase it was taken on one test drive. I am not getting on your case for this Murley cause you have no control over what happens to that car before it gets to you. But 18 miles is way too much. I wonder what that cars been up to? Peace!!

Well, I called SOA and they told me that on a random basis SOA will take a car before it leaves port for Quality Control purposes. They thought that the miles may have come from this. Interesting.

I can't say I'd be real thrilled about that. While I'm sure the people doing those tests are professionals, everyone has a playful side.

It's fantastic! Blows accord and camry outta the water i think. It is an all around fantastic car. I got it loaded with a manual. I am really impressed with how sporty it is. And it is soooo good looking. I got it in blue with the sport package. I haven't driven it all that much though. I only have like 1k miles on it. It will basically be my winter/long road trip car. Peace!!

I am used to New cars having a few miles on them. When I bought my NSX new it had 41 miles on it. Every NSX that roles off the line is taken for a few laps on Hondas test track before it is signed off on and shipped to the states. You won't find a new one with less than 30 miles on it.
