A large 35r and a built, supporting motor and mods might get you there. Something like the HTA86 might work. Most setups I've seen utilize meth injection. E85 would also help a lot as well.

Is there any way to make 500whp+ on pump gas alone? I have heard myths..but maybe somebody will know more. My goal is 550whp eventually. Thanks.

Yep! its possible but if thats your goal i hope you are rich or are planning on a build over a lot of years lol
My goal in the end is 550whp on just 92 pump gas. What are things to consider with the build? Money wont be a factor as I plan to set aside money each paycheck for a while. Any suggestions?
Just go to the built sti area on the site and look and see what people have built. Quite a few huge builds just read the journals and you will be able to learn alot and can figure out what parts you want to use
