Please help identify open connector

Auto part Bumper Automotive exterior Hand Vehicle

Somehow the pic got rotated to the side, but here you can see where the line in question splices off from the main harness right under the top coolant tank.

This is the pic of the unattached connector I found, does anyone know where it goes.

Does anyone know what this should be connected to? It's splices off of the main harness right under the upper coolant tank and only goes about 4 inches, but I can't find another open connector to snap it to.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I've never noticed this before, and my car recently died and won't start again so I'm really hoping this has something to do with it. Thanks again.

Can you get a better picture of it? It almost looks like (if my memory serves me right) it is one of the injector harnesses with the 'alignment tabs' cut off.

Also, check the oil flow solenoid (or whatever it is - there is one on each side if I recall correctly). It's down pretty far and sits right on the top of the engine. It should be in between (and below) the turbo and the closest injector. It was kinda a stretch to get it in with aftermarket rails - I can't remember how it looked with the stock rails.

Ok, I updated with better pics. Thanks for the help so far.
Are you running an aftermarket turbo inlet? I can't remember the color of the PCV check valve solenoid, but that may be what it is. It looks like a pin is stuck in there and that's part of the process of installing some aftermarket inlets in order to keep from setting off a CEL. If that is the case, you should put some electrical tape over that connector to keep the pin in place.
It's the one that should go on the PCV after seeing the better pictures. See the small metal tab inserted in it? That came from the old white bracket that was part of the PCV system. You can just pull the metal tab out of it and insert it directly into the connector when modifying the PCV system.

Soo... Just tape it up and keep it out of the way. I'd wait for confirmation from a few others, however.

This is what it looks like to me, as well.

Edit: When you delete the PCV as per some inlet installs, that harness plugs into this hose:

Which "attaches" into the OEM inlet here (the hose doesn't go into the inlet, IIRC):

Check out this install guide, it tells you how to remove the PCV and you can kinda see the PCV and its valve: http://www.iwsti.com/forums/how-ins...o-inlet-install-silicone-applies-all-mys.html

Ok, that seems right. Thanks for the responses everybody. That seemed like a quick fix so I was hoping that was the problem. I'm still not getting a CEL so I'll just have to tow it to the dealer.
