I am planning on it. In fact once everything is finalized, STi specs, and if I can get one, I am going to get the plates right away for my Legacy and then switch them over to the STi when I get it. I think I might just try for STI or XX STI XX or WRX STI. I have a feeling STI might already be taken or even WRX STI.

Hey now, I saw my nickname in a list above for the plates. It is more than a nickname, it is also going to be the name of the car as well as the personalized licence plate - my wifes idea. Is this like the Seinfeld episode where George has this geat name for a kid - Seven, and he takes a spaz after he mentioned it to someone who uses it. As long as no one from where I am takes it anyway.

Sucks that the state where I live just announced yesterday that they will manufacture no new plates because of the budget cuts. I am going to call today and see if I can get the personalized plates anyway.

I don't like vanity plates, I think they give people (and cops) an easy target to remember you. However I think a regular appearing vanity plate would be neat:

289-BHP

people that get it get it, the rest don't care

(substitute 289 for whatever you want)

Z06 would look nice with 405-BHP

And I think the best plate is just "WRX", that's hardcore.
