Re: Patrick's '04 WRB STI (posts 15 and 16 for new pictures)

The same day we mounted my hood on his car, we talked about swapping interiors. I've just gotten over my car having so much blue. Plus, I think white or silver subies look sexier with the blue interior than any other color exterior.

TORN APART...

LOOKS LIKE A JUNKYARD...

Like the flat black piping versus chrome, makes engine compartment look more functional.

Thanks! Yeah, I hate chrome. I just never thought about doing it until my buddy painted his 240's pipes.

Painted the interior pieces with a semi-gloss black...

I need to repaint the main center piece, as it came out too glossy, and I also still need to paint the piece around the shifter...

Re: Patrick's '04 WRB STI (Photoshoot for Seibon marketing)

Seibon wanted me to send them some photos that they can use for marketing. My photographer got all the good shots, but I went around with my phone and took some I liked too...

Re: Patrick's '04 WRB STI (fog light vent LED strips)

I decided to add some lighting to my fog light covers, seeing as I can't afford what I really want (JDM fogs), plus I had these just taking up room on a shelf...

They aren't really noticeable at all when they're off. Currently, they're hard wired into the fuse for the radio, so they're on anytime the car is running. That's not what I want though. Once I get a switch, I'll put it next to the IC Spray switch.

Re: Patrick's '04 WRB STI ('07 tail light modding)

I recieved some tail lights from member Nappy. The whole process took me from 7pm last night until 1:30 this morning, so not too bad for never having done this before. I'm not sure whether this mod scared me more, for fear of messing it up, or drilling the holes in the carbon fiber trunk for the carbon fiber spoiler.

Half and half... (He didn't like it when I said I was going to send him back one of each in the mail so we could both drive around like this.)

I didn't care about getting a daytime shot of before doing anything to them...

Ten minutes after opening the package from UPS, I started cutting into them with the dremel. ~30min later, I had it all apart...

Ready for paint...

Sealing them up...

Thought there was only 4 screws, but it turns out there were 5. Fixed/sealed it though...

Finished side by side with shitty lighting...

Finished and installed in daylight...
