dealer markups

When the new ford thundbird first came out a few years ago, markups were as high as 12,000 at some dealerships...now you get a a new t-bird for 5,000 below msrp....its all supply and demand...my advice wait 12 months before your purchase and save a lot of money on an sti!!!

You may be right. I'm getting so tired bending over for these dealers that don't even have any product available yet.

I agree 100%. I am probably going to get the WRX and then later get the STi

T-Bird.... Ha! I realloy don't like that car, and the more I see it, the more I hate it. It saddens me to remember the glory days of American muscle in the late sixties-early seventies, and then go around and look at the new crap American car companies are putting out.

Well, I think in general, american cars are getting back to their "roots," and that is nothing but a good thing (imo)--with maybe the exception of the t-bird.
