Preface: Yes, I know that OTS maps are more "universal" and a ProTune/ETune is best. I'm working on it.

From the OTS Maps that the group has used in the past for the 2019 STIs, is there a specific version that you've had the most success with? I have v350, v36X, and v400.

Car is stock except for a CBE while I'm amassing parts, so I wanted to try an OTS, or is the consensus to leave it without an OTS for the time being?

Thanks.

It would be best if you get all the parts that require a tune and install together. Not all parts require a tune but most do. So do further research, and clump them together to save money on a tune :)

I haven't used any of the map revisions so I can't comment on that but in general I disagree with the above leaving it alone. You could load a stage 1 tune on there. I haven't datalogged any newer sti's, I'm just getting back into the car stuff again after an 8 year break but in the past when I logged a stock 2011 wrx or a stock 08 sti they both knocked substantially on a stock tune using our crap Nevada fuel. So based on those I'd say the Cobb map is likely as safe or more than stock especially since they have the options for 91 octane fuel depending where you live. And you might get some drivability changes you'd like or a slight power bump. Also having the accessport in there is nice to be able to monitor the car and actually see how it's running.
