This is kinda odd the way I found this out, but long story short I forgot to put my oil cap on and lost it on the road somewhere. So in the meantime I have a rag ziptied over the oil fill tube. One coincidence I noticed was my oil consumption has almost ceased. I'm "essentially" running open breather. I was wondering if venting the breather is a bad thing or not? Thanks! :D

well to answer my own question, its not good to run open breather because metered air is getting vented out which causes poor fuel economy and rich tendencies. but removing the pcv valve and running the pcv port straight to a cc then to the inlet tube isnt bad and greatly decreases positive pressure in the crankcase. which in turn lower oil consumption because there isn't excess pressure built up which can push oil any which way.

anyone have any suggestions on what to plug the inlet nipple on the manifold? Seems like if i just stuck a cap on there, it would blow off under boost.
