good find. thanks. i noticed that they're no longer calling the wheels "gunmetal", but "silver". now why didn't they do that all along?

Must be a marketing strategy to taunt us! Then again, gunmetal is a shade of silver. I just want my car!

Although the concept of gunmetal is supposedly well known, I still think it is a stupid idea. Orange makes sense as a color, as most oranges are orange. Guns, on the other hand, are all different colors, and most are made of metal. You might as well order a gun, and specify its color as "wheelmetal."

Gunmetal I think is supposed to refer to the "blueing" on a rifle, which is kinda a dark blue gray. That's all I can figure out as to what "gunmetal" means. I do remember making plastic models of air planes and the instructions called for gunmetal as a color of paint. I was never really sure what that color was thou.

The STi silver wheels look like bare aluminium to me since they as such a light silver. I know they are painted but that's what the color resembles.
