Subaru Canada just launched the official WRX STi.

It is www.wrxsti.ca

You will need Macromedia Flash 6 to see anything (you can get it at www.macromedia.com).

It's really cool and very complete! A lot of info and pictures.

You'll notice that the spec are a bit different for Canada (heated seats and mirrors, 6CD in dash Sound System come standard for example, but not HID). :wink:

Back when Evo was first released they stated there were 17 inch brembo breaks. Well guess SOC did it to. They state that the sti has 17 inch breaks also under handling. LOL

The intro has the redline rev. to 8000, so does this mean only canadians gets it or the all NA 2.5L gets the same redline?

For the interior view of the dash, it does not show any numbers. Strange...

yeah, the gauges are blacked out until you turn on the car, then it does that needle sweep thing and the numbers light up. pretty darn cool . . .

I very highly doubt that the redlines will be different, if its 7,000 rpm's here then it will be 7,000 rpm's there, or if its 8,000 rpm's here it will be 8,000 rpm's there(canada) but im almost sure it is 7,000 rpm's.

Are we sure on that does anyone remember?

The pics from the Western region preview showed 7000. Looks to me like they used the same JDM pics for the Canadian websie that they used on the US microsite.

Why

The Canadian STi doesn't come with HID. But it will be a dealer installed option.

didn't anybody notice the Canadian version has more supportive front seats. The seat bottoms don't look the same as Jdm models, but the seat backs do!

Nope, it turns out that the pictures on the Canadian site was just wrong and you guys are getting the same seats as the U.S.

at least you guys still have the truck passthrough and heated seats. But no HIDs :wink:
