I just finished installing speakers in mine today.. everything went in pretty smoothly. Thanks again for East Coast Scooby's adaptor kit. :)
I do have one concern with the OEM Sub in the car though. The location of the sub is right behind a vent located under the passenger seat. While it's great in summer time to have cold air blow on it to keep it cool, but what about winter time when the heat is blasting? Could that be a problem?

I had that OEM sub in my WRX and never had a problem. I don't think the built-in amp makes enough heat to have that kind of need for dissipation. I do hear where you're coming from with that one, though. First glance says: "bad engineering". My experience says no worries.

ok.. thanks for the assurance. :)
While I was trying to determine which holes to mount the sub onto the bracket, I noticed it just got away from one of the blow vent. I thought wow, these guys actually thought about the vent, and then I noticed the OTHER vent.. and I am like.. uh... DOH
