I think the key thing to keep in mind is the .uk/ in there. As long as you can get an octane rating of at least 91, which you can, you are fine. 93 is the preferred octane rating though. Anyone else care to clarify? Oh yeah... go Nebraska! I lived in Omaha for 4 years. Huskers rule!

Thanks for the additional information.

I did note the doc was UK, but it made a small reference to US fuel specs, mainly a recommendation I think:

"In the UK, the standard (or premium) unleaded fuel is rated at 95 RON, the same as the Super available in other countries such as Australia and the US. In countries where lower quality fuel is available, then the best advise would be to run on the Super (or Premium) Unleaded fuel."

I am glad to hear that 96 or higher octane is not a requirement. As usual, this site has been a valuable source of knowledge/information. Your reply is appreciated.

I love NE, too. Small world.

All American "Premium" fuel is 98RON. :)

I am at altitude, so 91 here for me is like 93 or 94 to you guys down at sealevel. :)

The confusion is in the (RON + MON)/2 formula and blah, blah, blah. JJ, I remember when you had the fuel article from SUNOCO on the old site. Where is it now? I looked for it about a month ago and could not find it. Perhaps you could post it, or make an article out of it. Please...
