Welp, after taking the lead in Turkey and beginning to kick some ass, Petter goes into a corner, turns full lock, kicks up a rock and breaks the steering arm. Wonderful....

Tommi's in 4th at the end of day one....but damn it! Petter always shows such talent and then it's something.....bunch of trees....little rock....grrrrr.

Yup, all kinds of info on there as the rally progresses. I actually get up a little early to listen to the last stages live on WRC Radio. It's very cool...you can listen to them as they talk to the drivers coming back to service park, calling off splits all while watching the live dashboard event board show the splits, leaders.....

Very cool indeed. For Turkey, they are GMT+2 and for CST we are GMT-6, so you have to be up around 6-7am CST in order to catch whatever is left to happen after 3pm there. Of course recalculate for your own time zone.

Yeah, while I was watching coverage of Sweden last night, I kept thinking about our convos about a Subie hatch. Tommi seems pretty damn happy with the new car though. In fact, I've never seen Tommi this happy. Either he's on drugs, or he really likes the car.

And of course, as Petter was quoted at Sweden "The car's a sexy beast!"

Yes, nice site. I actually found out about the site last night after I picked up the latest copy of Rally XS magazine, which I did not know existed. I wondered before if there was a rally magazine. I checked the site over a little during lunch but did not want to get too carried away and loose track of time since I am at work. I did register. I will have to look it over more when I get home.

Yeah, be sure to sign up for the MyWRC section to get the newletter. Once a week updates on happenings, alone with daily coverage of the events themselves.

Where did you find the RallyXS mag? I've been interested in a subscription, but the one place I found it, it was $55 for 6 issues a year. I was like, "No damn way a mag is worth that!"

I'd be interested in picking a copy up.

Did you read how they tried fixing the suspension on the stage? Using the spare tire hold down strap??? Wow....didn't last long, but that's some amazing thinking.

If it wasn't for his expertise, I don't think that car would still be in it. Heck, even someone like Gronholm was whining after day one that he wanted to retire. I lost quite a bit of respect for him (Gronholm) because of that.

I found mine at Border's. Yeah a subscription would be nice but it's pricey. It is a nice quality mag with great photography though. I am also wondering what condition I would get the mag in if I subcribed since it is coming quite a distance. Boxes I get from overseas are usually trashed.

Just as an afterthought to the comments about Subaru and our previous notes about the need for a hatchback. I was previously a fan of going this way as well, but after the motorshow here in Edmonton these past few days, and having a chance to sit in the new impreza, I have to say that it feels small enough that I wouldn't trade it for a hatch either. Its a lot bigger on the outside than it feels, and I found that a good way to see how small it was was to roll down the front windows and open the door, that alone tells you how small the car is. I can't wait to take a STI down the roads out here! :D
