Re: No crust - 2011 pbp

I don’t have new pictures but valve lash measurements are done. I’m missing a few buckets.

Doing fuel lines tonight and then no work until the weekend

Long story short.... ground my own cam buckets to fit properly after wrong order.

Tomorrow I’ll seal up the engine, do the timing and it’ll be ready for drop in.
I’ll be running the gates Kevlar/racing timing belt kit. Everything on it is stamped Japan - no worries about failed pieces.

From whom did you order the gates kit from? I've heard conflicting information when it come to what parts you get. People have received a lot of Chinese junk.

I've had this kit for a while so it could've been before they changed over. However, some people have stated that the kevlar/racing timing belt kit still uses Koyo Japan parts.

(Have to swap the -10AN 90* to a straight fitting.

Bottom timing belt pulley threads came right out of the block

I was going to fix it today but I’m under the weather with strep throat. My helicoil kit is ready and will fix it tomorrow or Saturday
