I noticed from all the picture on the web that we are not getting a front strut bar on the new sti. Is this because the engine size won’t allow a strut bar to fit, or is the handling been improved so much there is no reason to have one? I’m just hopping they make one out their, that’s fits with out having to replace the Intercooler. I think they make the handling better and they look cool too.

Yup, no strut bar. I think the JDM cars come with it stock (or use to), so there is a piece out there that will fit and not interfere with the IC.

Most modern performance unit-body cars don't need a strut tower brace. On a car like the Impreza, the strut towers are close to the firewall already, which acts like an integrated strut tower brace. For the most part, you're better off putting that money into other mods.

i read off this forum about the front and rear struts being a dealer option... i denno tho... never seen pics of it
