OK In April I met a salesperson from Loman Subaru which is located in Parsippany NJ. I met her at the NY auto show. She told me to come into the dealership that they were not charging over MSRP. And that I would be number 3 on the list. When I went there she was off and the person who took my deposit was a total jerk! He did not want to place the order because I would not agree to pay over sticker. They eventually took my money and placed the order.
I called yesterday to see how everything was going and this is what her reply was: I don't know if you are number three. You are my third order not the dealerships third order! Anyway I almost passed out! I've been waiting since April thinking I am number 3 and now she does not know!
Just be careful if you guys go here. I'll let you know how it turns out. I still have not given up on them!

just got back from being out and about i was passing by Ramsey Subaru on route 17 so I called in to see what they are marking up etc. They had a white with gold in the showroom that was tagged $5000 over. i asked the salesman about it and he said if im interested in a STi, i said yeah but not for 5k over. he said to make him an offer. i said a friend payed msrp for his and i dont really want to pay over either. his reply "i can have the one in the showroom for msrp" he said that the guy that wanted it didnt get approved credit and no one on his waiting list wants white so he would give it to me at msrp... so if anyone wants a white w/ gold get down there its ready for immediate delivery. oh yeah and its got no options in it... so $30,995.
