Soooooo....

It seems that a stock turbo and a 3" exhaust without cats will produce boost surge/over boost conditions. Porting and polishing the turbine scroll and waste gate will help avoid over boost.

Does anyone have an opinion on a larger turbo that works well with the stock computer? Upgraded injectors are an expected part of the upgrade; FMIC or a big top mount is possible.

The goal is 300 whp.

most definitely... although salisbury's AF graph proved to be very relieving (as it was near perfect) I would like some kind of engine management before upgrading to something serious (FMIC, turbo, etc...). That and it would be nice to know you have copmlete control of your engine and can adjust anything should it go ary or something.

as far as new turbos go what are some opinions?
aps sr50 or the dr series?
greddy's turbo upgrade kit? (mitsu type)
the gt30 or 35 that godspeed is working on?

i have been searching many forums and trying to find out what's out there

Im definitely interested in the Garrett setups. I've been a garrett fan for a long time as they seem to be the most efficient and best designed turbos. You can bolt ANY turbo up as long as you have management, but as for actual kits, I know of APS and the Garrett Turbo kits.
