hey folks. just looking for any suggestions on full winter tire suggestions, and rims as well. all steel winter rims will work great. Hakkapelitta? Hankook? Pirelli? Don't need high speed, just good tread. Thanks for everything STi family. Cheers
I would choose LM 25's for the overall performance. I was thinking of the Revo before but if it snows a lot, my job would either have a delayed opening or completely closed. So why do I really need a more extreme winter tire? LM 25's + Subaru AWD should be more than enough
Yea the tread looks more agressive for dry than the Blizzaks and I read a cool review where the LA poliece department tried to destroy them in testing as a potential snow tire (I have no idea why the cops want snow tires in LA) and they held up really well.
For the money you can't beat the Hankook Ice Bar. These tires are really
good in the snow (over 6 inches) and perform very nice on dry roads.
They have a pretty stiff sidewall. I went with the 215/50 on the MB
rims from Direct Discount Tire. Great tires and rims !
