New to the suby world with a new STI

My name is Myke and i'm somewhat new to the suby world. I have a couple friends with wrx's and my girlfriend used to have a 04 WRB wrx wagon. It was a nice car but then at 175,000 she got rid of it. (Burnt a lot of oil) I used to have a rare 93 firebird formula set up for RR and auto x until it got stolen last year.

Anyway I just bought a new WRB 5-door STI the other day and i'm pretty stoked. Me and my girlfriend are enjoying every second of it. My 4 year old also loves it.

Plan on doing some cosmetic mods, like protecting our beautiful wrb color with a clear bra. Also front lip spoiler. Then do a Crawford separator to protect the motor. Maybe cobb AP if my dealer says its ok. But I mostly love the twisties so I plan on a lot of suspension mods.

Welcome to the world of subaru. Subaru's are different than many different other cars, so make sure you read as much information as possible before doing any mods to ensure you are doing the right mods for what you want.

As far as the Dealer okaying an AP, I would guess most dealers would say 'NO' because they could always use that to refuse warranty work since that can have an effect on anything associated with the engine.

Yes, I'm constantly doing research. I'm afraid of the motor going so thats why I want the Crawford separator. Also, the guy at the dealer says he is ok with stage 1.
