So I’m going to attempt a life without a truck and going to get me a hatch back. Pretty excited and looking forward to meeting new folks. It’s going to be a long road of upgrades but ill try and get pics as I go and see what y’all think.

Re: motorcycle hitch carrier

It would work if you got an STi sedan but the hatch is a no go zone for hitch's because of the exhaust system. That being said a custom hitch would definitely work.

I had a hitch on my hatch and it fit just fine with both the stock cbe and the Cobb cbe. Are you saying that you want a hitch carrier? like to where the bike is sideways on the back of the car? If so, i don't think the STI could handle that kind of weight on the back of it, you'd be bottoming out the whole time.
so I changed up my post a bit because after all my searching and not finding anything, the second i submitted this post i tried one last effort of a search and got my answer. the tongue weight cap is 200lbs, so it would have to be a trailer and not a sideways carry. thank you for the help.

I don't think you would bottom out with a dirtbike on an 11+. Ive loaded 500lbs+ into my hatch and driven down our 3rd world country streets and onto construction sites in my hatch on numerous occasions and never bottomed or rubbed.

Trailers are way safer for this purpose. Hopefully you can find something that fits!
welcome OP! I think you will be happy with the switch. It's a truly fun car to daily drive. Pics when you get it!!
