Need help understanding AP readings

Hey, so long story short I own an 07 sti and was doing some WOT pulls. I didn't notice when I got the readings, but at some point I got -4.2 feedback knock, and -2.5 fine knock learning. My DAM never changed, and everything else seemed fine. Was just wondering if there was anything to worry about? Car is modified with a FMIC, bigger turbo, injectors/pump, EL Headers and supporting mods. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Quick update, I saw Cobbs little guide. Just drove to work, and this time I got -1 to -1.4 fine knock learning on WOT pulls in 3rd briefly, pretty much once I got throttle response it would flash then dissappear. Got -2.8 feedback knock randomly somewhere, assuming on one of my pulls to see if it would pop up and missed it while watching the fine knock learning monitor. It only came up the one time though, didnt see it any other time.
A little bit of FBK under load ok. Its not uncommon to see that when entering boost and ramping up the power band. You don't want FBK at high rpm high load situations. Having FKL is a bit concerning no matter what. I would try and figure out what is causing the FKL.

Does your DAM ever change at all from 1.0? Hows your AFL 1?
AFL 1 never went past -8.59. DAM was 1 the entire drive. The FKL occurred when I shifted from 1st to 2nd, and 2nd to 3rd I believe, and then if I went WOT, it would be like -1.0 to -1.4 for a brief second, but wouldn't come up as I went through the Rev range. I'll probably look again at it on my way home.
-8.59 AFL 1 seems kind of high. I would suggest doing a boost leak test to see if you have any small leaks anywhere.

Just as a referance, I dont have any FKL ever. My AFL 1 stays between -2.34% and + 2.34%. Never deviates from that.

Okay good to know. Honestly not super worried about the AFL, just mostly the FKL. I did just start getting those problems after getting a full tank of gas, so maybe thats it? I've read that bad gas can cause it. Otherwise, are those numbers worth worrying about? Would rather the numbers be 0 but if it's within acceptable ranges then that would be a load off my shoulders. I'll definitely get it looked at if it persists though

It's important to understand that knocking is a complex issue that can be caused by many factors, including fuel quality, ignition timing, air/fuel ratio, and engine build-up. Given that your car has been modified, it is possible that the tuning system is off or one of the components can cause knocking under certain conditions.

It's hard to say what caused the knock without see what was happening during the pull

If it's not a common occurrence then it's probably fine. You can trigger knock with bumps

You could post a log here if you want
Afrlearning is only for closed loop / not open loop (pulls)

If it’s not common. Do you by chance have an aluminum underpan/skid plate? Mine had to be spaced out because it was tapping and causing false knock.

What did you use as spacers ? I never thought about this... but I have one

Whiteline or kartboy makes spacers. I think it’s for a suspension component. Found it. I doubled them in the rear and used none up front iirc

interesting so its just to get rid of any play. I was unsure if you meant like a rubber spacer that would cushion any vibrations

Well that plus tightening the bolts with all the uga Duggas works lol. But use anti seize. That worked for me. But will only work if it’s false knock and that’s the cause.
