OK GANG subi stole me as a cutomer from porsche and the oild changes and filter location are easy from a rear engine car.

ok ok im blind and a newbie subi

but PLEASE tell me where the oil filter and drain plug are located as im about to install the fumoto quick drain valve and new filter and new mobile 1 1000 miles done !

all help trully appreciated !

For some strange reason, Subaru stores the extra oil under the engine, instead of in it's own tank. Makes very little sense, but their engineers were taking notes quickly while touring the Porsche factory, and I guess they missed a few things.

Speaken of oil changes, too bad that they didnt design the oil filter to be right side up so there wouldnt be a mess when changing the oil filter, something like my rx7 that i used to own, it was right on top next to the fill all you had to do was unscrew it and put the new one on, without the mess and hassle!
