My dealer called this morning and said "your car is here". I could not believe it. Went over to check it out. He said it was the first one they got. I am 4th on the list and dealer told me it would be here in june?? i am getting white silver. Not sure why mine came first. Anywho, very glad i waited to get sti and resisted my urge to get evo. the interior is a lot nicer. Seats are not as bad as i expected either. I went to check it out while the mechanic was doing the prep checklist. It will be ready on monday. i trying to post pics not sure if it will work

last one. Only had a couple of pics left on this roll. I will take some more monday. I should have taken one of the interior. The gauges look really cool when lit up. I also played with the adjustable head lights very neat.

awesome. congrats! some suggested/mentioned that white cars were being delivered first. it appears to be true. it looks incredible. i told my dealer i'd like blue/gold or white/gold. i wonder if i'll be getting a call since i was the highest one on the list that mentioned white. after seeing all these pic of white, i've decided that i would truly be happy with either color.

drove it today. I did not drive it home because i am financing through my bank and the have to get the financing worked out. The dealer could not match the rate i can get at my bank. It was pretty difficult to leave without the car. Hopefully will have it worked out tomorrow. I work 7-7 so that makes it difficult.

Drive... It is really fast. The engine is very smooth. It still has the woosh at about 2800-3000 rpm like the wrx. I did not rev it past 4000 rpm, but very fast. The ride is perfect. Not harsh at all. Hit some big pot holes and it did not phase it. Stiff not harsh. Gear box is nice. I have not driven a six speed before and i was not sure what gear i was because it was dark out. Close ratios, never felt like i was in the wrong gear. Will take some getting used to but the shifts are very positive. Not at all vague like some of the magazines have described. While i was driving it around a neighborhood I did not notice anything bad. When i was accelerating onto the highway on the on ramp i could feel the front end tuck or something in the front end pulling the car into the corner. Only happened while i was off the gas and shifting. I guess this is the front diff releasing and grabbing. Felt kind of wierd. guess i will have to get used to it. Car is very easy to drive. I cannot wait till tomorrow. My significant other was surprised i left the dealership without the car. Me too. I have waited this long, though. I can wait another day. I will post another update soon.
