Okay all, I am a girly..not a dude or guy lol!! Anyway, I love my Subie. Had a 2011 blue WRX fully paid off that I traded for the 2013.. Can't wait till my Cobb CAI and Access Port come in the mail this week.. It will surely light her up!!

I also still get that feeling after 5 years with my car....
congrats on the car!!! Only had mine for around 4.5 months and every time I get in it I am happy!! I love my drive to and from work every day. It's a real nice feeling.
This is a wonderful thread.

Some people get the same feeling by being inside a blubber clad, leather coated rolling multimedia population conditioning and dumbing down machine. I hear the new S-class totally drives itself and is full of superficially very useful but very ugly things like cameras and microphones and GPS and all kinds of memory all of which are hooked up to each other.

Very glad to still have an old fashioned car with a few modern toys to make it a little more accessible, and moddable. Times really did used to be better!

I find most 'performance luxury' cars quite boring :p they don't stand out, they don't feel raw, they don't give me good, fun times I guess :D

Yah, tell me about it. I've driven AMG's, Maseratis, you name it and I came out of the experience with a "nice but meh, slightly more exciting but costs 5x as much as a Toyota Camry or Honda Accord V6" feeling. Not to say that those are particularly fun or exciting cars either, but if you just want something straightforward, "luxurious", smooth and powerful that's enough for most people. I think a Maserati or AMG Mercedes might shine at higher speeds, way higher speeds than most people are willing to drive. Maybe its the bling factor.

As I am discovering, the STi is a wonderful empty canvas. And the names of the colors are ___(your tuner), SPT, Cobb, Perrin, Super Pro, Whiteline, Killer B, Defi, ATi, Michelin, Grimmspeed, Crawford........
