Here's my first log - running Cobb OTS Stage 2 91 Oct, with Cobb Catted Downpipe. I'm very happy with the results. Ever since I bought the car, I thought it was one of the STi's that could never reach target boost - well, according to my crappy stock boost gauge anyway. Even with reading live boost on the AP, I was never sure if I was getting full boost, and I'm hesitant to venture into those HWG maps.

Anyways, here it is (I couldn't figure out IAM or A/F until after I did the log) The main thing I wanted to look at was Boost and Knock Correction.

*EDIT* I know I need to work on post formatting for these things

yes, it does feel good to know your car is running the way its supposed to, especially after having invested money in upgrades.

So here's a question then, if all these variables are accessible via the ECU, why aren't there gauges out there that can splice into the ECU harness instead of having to go mechincal with a hose for boost, or a temp probe for IAT, when the ECU already does it for you?

Look in to a device called a ScanMaster3. It will display all the stuff the ECU knows.

I am currently running the PSi3, sold through Turn In Concepts (though this one was pre-production) It does exactly what you stated:
