anyone offer any other stories? I heard this from Brad @ Ira Suabru in Danvers, MA. He says we will get a different boatload of cars coming to us a bit later than the cars i see were delivered around the country.

please share your knowledge!!!

I can confirm this. My dealer (Secor in New London) gave me the same info the other day. Said that SNE's boat w/STi's isn't due at port till 6/8 and that it will take at least a week from that date....so probably looking at 6/15-23 for them to start arriving for us. Although I believe some of the Southernmost CT dealers take delivery thru Cherry Hill, NJ, and I believe cars are arriving there already.

I COMPLETELY understand wanting it now! But look at it this way (as it made it a little more tolerable for me)....this gives us ample time to get a better handle on stereo options, boost gauges, floormats, etc. If you think that it's only another 2-3 weeks away, and we've already been waiting for months, it's easier (or so I'm trying to convince myself). The EVO just doesn't work for me, on many levels, so I'm waiting it out. Let us know how you like your test drive! (if Mitsu will let you, that is).

yeah,

lots of ways to stay busy for another two weeks. I hear ya.

I went and took a look at the Mits. It is a nice car. The seats are great, and you can get a sunroof. And, even if it is a bit more of a handler, I am sure I would like the more muscular feel of the Scooby. My last car was a 1995 BMW ///M3. It just pulled like a bat out of hell, and I miss that more than anything now that I have a WRX. I just want a WRX on steroids, i think. But all the extras will be nice - seats, brakes, suspension, intercooler, wing, HID lights, outside temp gauge.

but, i want to drive the Mits on the same day i see my STi. then i can compare. If the Mits blows it away, i may need to do some thinking. But probably not the case.

here's to being patient!
