what intercoolerkit do u think would fit the best in the new STi (i mean like the whole intercooler would fit in place with no gaps at all)?

Any one find any pics for the white or silver STi the only pics i have found were blue and black? :-?

I don't think there are any gaps with the stock intercooler from the pics we see.

From discussions of the STi brand top mounts of the past STis, they are about as good as they get.....one of the best upgrades for WRX tuners.

An interesting tidbit from that site that backs up previous articles--that the JDM STi weighs about 3200 lbs (1450kg). I think it's highly unlikely that our STi will be lighter than this. I am expecting the US STi to be about equal to the Evo VIII: 3250 lbs. It's too bad that there won't be Spec C in the US, but honestly I think I'd rather diet for a few months than loose the air conditioner.

This thread should be subtitled: "How to kill a month's worth of time while waiting for SOA to say something..."

Well that's good to know about the stock intercooler.

Would there be any point in getting a FMIC?

This one is supposed to keep it clear of rocks and debris... but there has to be better airflow if you put the intercooler in front.

The FMIC would be a worthwhile mod if you were running a lot more boost and were more heavily modded. Other than that its not going to benefit you much.
