I only run torco racing oil in my subi hate that I can't get the jdm oil filter.

As stated in the other oil thread recently, be careful with racing oils. They are frequently a terrible idea for street use, and really aren't designed for an engine that has a lot of cold starts, long oil change intervals, and sustained low loads.

That's interesting with the copper - mine has elevated copper as well (~50-70ppm), but I don't really have any explanation for it. Did you find a cause, or just wait it out?
